How We Validated ROI and Transformed Social Media Engagement for a U.S. Tool Manufacturer

Project Overview

Established in 1950, Malco Products, SBC is a reputable U.S. manufacturer of specialty tools for markets such as heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC), roofing, siding, and gutter (RSG), fence, deck, and rail (FDR), and autobody repair and refinishing. Malco chose DRPM to validate their return on investment (ROI) on their marketing campaign and elevate their communication efforts to their target market and distributors via social media and other strategic avenues.

The Challenge

Malco wanted to validate their ROI on marketing efforts, since they only work through distributors and have no direct sales to end users on their site. They also had an opportunity to enhance their online presence and communication efforts to effectively interact with their customers and distributors.

DRPM's Solution

Our first step was to conduct social media and PPC competitive audits and complete foundational research to unveil insights and opportunities. From there, we implemented branded social media sites, launched organic social media content creation, implementation, and engagement, and created digital marketing campaigns inclusive of Google, Facebook, and Twitter, all while completing ROI reports on a monthly basis. Furthermore, we researched and identified key influencers to partner with and developed engaging copy for blogs, new product launches, promotional pieces, newsletters, etc.
